Federprivacy announces a partnership with Edison
The trust of customers also passes through the protection of their privacy, and companies pay more and more attention to the security of personal data and the transparency of information with their customers. Today, Federprivacy announces that it has entered into a partnership with Edison, a leading company in the energy sector in Italy.
Recently, Edison has in fact given its support as a supporter of Federprivacy by starting a synergy with the professional trade association to which the majority of the data protection officers of the large Italian companies are registered.
Carlo Galiano, Data Protection Officer of Edison’s Internal Audit department, stated:
“It has been a long time that the companies of our Group have relied on Federprivacy for the professional training of members of the Personal Data Protection team, now thanks to this collaboration I am sure that we will be able to further increase sensitivity within our organization, for this reason a new important joint initiative is already in the pipeline and is just waiting to be implemented. “
Among the main objectives on which the collaboration with Edison will focus, there are staff training and awareness, as explained by Nicola Bernardi, president of Federprivacy:
“Skills and awareness are the basis of compliance with the rules set by the GDPR, and we very much appreciate that Edison can draw on our information content to promote the culture of privacy internally, thus confirming that it knows how to deserve the trust of consumers, who are always more attentive to the hands in which they hand over their personal data “.
